One of the strange sports in the ancient Greece Olympics was called the chariot race. In this race there were several different races. They had two horse races and four horse races. Also they had races for the younger horses, the foals. The chariot race is a race that includes a cart with an athlete which is being pulled by two or four races. In these chariot races the horses raced 12 laps around the stadium, where people watched and cheered them on. The next strange sport in the ancient Greece Olympics is called Pankration. This was a sport that was a mixture of wrestling and boxing. In Pankration fighters were allowed to punch each other wherever they wanted to.
